manic monday

i got two of my scores back today.

the verdict: decent.

actually, for spanish, more than decent.
i got a 98% A+!!!!
heck yes!
i think she must have been excited about it.
on my evaluation sheet she said "excelente" like, three times.
i was quite relieved i must say.
and somewhat smug.
i'm actually GOOD at something!
yay me.

on the other hand, i calculated my Economics test score...

not so great.
though a 70% is better than a 45%.
i also found out he drops your lowest test grade,
so i just have to do decent on my next test
and my final, which is cumulative.
pray for me....
Economics is very dificult and hard to understand.
i hate it.

and, alas, i will most likely get my math score back on wednesday.
hopefully.
and hopefully i did well.

today, i had to skip econ and math, though,
because i had to go to the library archives and photocopy advertisements from pre-1950's magazines.
it was quite entertaining, though, i must say.
one of the ones i chose to copy was from 1929.
it was about "electric refridgeration".
haha. it made me laugh.

another one i saw was for a ford.
it cost $845 brand new.
i wish they were still that cheap!

i'm sitting at home, which is a rare thing for me on a monday.
so i'm sitting in my bedroom, on my bed, making up excuses as to why i shouldn't clean up.
there are clothes everywhere.
and i'm pretty sure they are all dirty, and that i have no more clean underwear.
haha, oh the life of a college student.

i'm also putting off showering.
i HATE showering.
and i know that sounds gross.
i do not, however, hate being clean.
i just hate how much time it takes.
cause when i shower i have to lather up my hair,
and then i have to shave my legs and my underarms.
and then i have to get out and dry off which takes forever!
and then i get raccoon eyes from my mascara, so i have to wash my face.
and then i have to dry my hair.
and sometimes straighten it, but i've been too lazy lately.
and then back-comb the top to make some pouf.
and then put lotion on my dry skin.

as you can imagine, it is quite time-consuming.
ergo, i HATE showering. ha.

but now i have an excuse for not cleaning!
if i clean, i will need to do laundry.
but i have to shower, cause i have work tomorrow.
and i can't do laundry if i shower cause it will take up the hot water!
(this is an old house)
therefore, i will shower (ugh...)
and NOT clean.
