I started my second semester in the teaching program. It is so great, I absolutely love it! I'm so lucky to have found my calling in life, and so lucky that I will be able to look forward to my job each morning.
I began interning again, and this semester I requested that i get placed in a Spanish class. I was originally hoping for Junior High, but they put me in a Kindergarten-6th grade Spanish Specials class (like music, P.E., art, etc.)! I am absolutely loving it! The kindergarten classes are difficult and a bit stressful for me, but luckily I only have each class for 30 minutes. I have definitely had fun with the 5th-6th graders, though! They are so fun and I'm able to connect with them, which is really cool!
Here is the "get to know me" poster I made to introduce myself to all my classes. "SRTA" is an abbreviation for Senorita.

Other big changes:
I have started going back to church! I felt it one night, and I was just thinking to myself: "what are you doing with your life?! you know where you should be and what you should be doing! SO DO IT!!!" It was just a matter of figuring out HOW I was going to be able to make some very large changes in my life.
I was given the opportunity to move out of my dad's house since it has been stressful these last few months for me. For the last two years, we have lived with his girlfriend; they are not married and not living in a way that I want to be exposed to anymore. I knew that the support and guidance that I needed for the changes I wished to make in my life was not going to be found there. I moved in with a member family (The aunt and uncle of a friend). They welcomed me with open arms and are really supportive of me and I am so thankful for them! I was also able to secure a job for a couple days a week just to keep cash flow going, since I'm working so hard on school, I don't have much time to work (and I don't want to work on Sundays).
It just shows me the gospel is true when all these good things have started happening to me after I made that conscious decision to change my life and start living righteously again. Everything that I have been wishing for in the past 6 months has begun to come to pass within a month! My testimony of the gospel has grown ten fold from when I was younger! I'm so thankful for the constant support of my mom and the more recent support of my big brother, and their understanding through my trials and low times. I am just the happiest I could be, and I know that things are going to go well from here on out!
Yay! I am happy for you! Church is great - it is amazing how life just works better when you put in a little more effort spiritually.
